Disabled Development and Rehabilitation Project

The Disabled Development and Rehabilitation Project of Manav Unnayan Kendro (MUK) aims to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities (PWDs) by promoting inclusion, accessibility, rehabilitation, and socio-economic empowerment. The project works to ensure that people with disabilities can participate fully and equally in society.

Project Overview

Persons with disabilities often face barriers such as social stigma, limited access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities. This project addresses these challenges through a rights-based and inclusive approach, focusing on capacity building, rehabilitation services, and community awareness. MUK collaborates with families, community leaders, service providers, and local institutions to create an enabling environment for persons with disabilities.
